  • KLSE in correction? | KLSE or Bursa Malaysia stock market : My blog: Look for: Short term immediate support target 1,060 pt (if rebound about this level, wave 3 still haven't finished, and it's not really a main wave correction yet ) Immediate main support target = 1,030 pt (if approaching about this level, current wave 3 has finished, bearish wave 4 is in the making, and we can look forward for bullish wave 5)

  • KLSE brief - resistance testing week? | KLSE or Bursa Malaysia stock market : My blog: The immediate st resistance (also a fibonacci target) is at 1,110 pt. The index is at about that level now, means it is testing the resistance. As at time of writing (1,092 pt), the CI still slightly hesitating of breaking out. Let's see today, how it's going. If it manage to break 1,110 then let's look forward to at least 1,170 pt. Note that these are the short-term targets, there are other much higher longer-term target, but I expect corrections first before we can look forward to much higher target.

  • KLSE and Malaysia School Holiday Effect | KLSE or Bursa Malaysia stock market : My blog: Looking at the table above: overall, I don't think there were any obvious effects, it much depend of what trend the Composite Index were prior to the holidays. Somehow, I agree with my friend that during mid-year school holidays (May to Jun) the CI kind of slowed down and biased toward south. Since one more week remain, maybe we should consider taking our kids for holidays and put our mind off the quote and chart for a while. Come back fresh!

  • KLSE 2009: In short, I will say I am bullish on this first quarter. For me it lies on rising commodities 39; prices especially CPO. With rising crude oil, already high soy bean's price, and expected reduced CPO supply, it's a better outlook for CPO. Thus, plantation counters will be high on my list: IOICorp, RSAWIT, KLK. ASIATIC, IJMPlant etc. Don't forget about rubber producer, an analyst told me rubber could be the theme-play now. KOSSAN already went far ahead, I will not chase that but will check others. Said that, better check the charts from time to time for confirmation. Other thing maybe to look for this year are shares with buy back event. With lower cost of buying, cash rich companies will take the opportunity to accumulate. Wish you the best for 2009.
