  • Treasury U-turn on PFI takes pressure off DH capital budget: Health Service Journal | 4 June 2009 | Sally Gainsbury A Treasury U-turn over accounting rules for hospitals built under the private finance initiative has given the Department of Health?s capital budget a reprieve. Treasury guidance due to be published next week is expected to say that government departments will be exempt from changes to accounting rules for PFI which took effect in April.
